Terms of Use

Last updated 2 November 2026

Who we are

Memkit is run by Remus Poon, an individual. These terms are between you and Memkit. Apple is not a party to them and has no responsibility for the app or for supporting it.

Using Memkit

You must be at least 13 years old to use Memkit. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian to be okay with it.

Give us accurate information, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for what happens under it.

Your content

You own the photos, comments and anything else you post. By posting, you give Memkit permission to store it, process it and show it to the people you have connected with, only so the app can work. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

You are responsible for what you post. Only post content you have the right to share.

What is not allowed

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour on Memkit. Do not post or send:

Nudity or sexual content. Harassment, bullying, threats or hate towards a person or group. Content that is illegal, or that shows or encourages violence or self-harm. Spam or scams. Someone else's content or identity passed off as yours. Anything that targets or exploits a child.

Do not use Memkit to hurt anyone, to get around the safeguards in the app, or to break the law.

Reporting and blocking

You can report any post, comment or profile from the app, and block anyone. A blocked person is removed from your connections and can no longer find you. We read the reports we receive and act on those that break these terms.

What we can do

If content or behaviour breaks these terms, we may remove the content, suspend the account, or permanently ban the person. We may do this without warning when the harm is serious.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app. That deletes your account and the content it owns.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, Memkit sends you reminders and updates about activity from your connections. You can turn them off in your phone's Settings.

Our responsibility

Memkit is provided as it is. We work to keep it running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors.

We are not responsible for content that other people post. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that were not a foreseeable result of our actions. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing here takes away your legal rights as a consumer.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app. Using Memkit after a change means you accept it.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere, you keep any rights that the law of your country gives you and that cannot be waived.
